Summertime in full swing...

...and we are loving every minute of it. Our A/C went out last week, and we are making the most of our fans. The 90+ degree days here on the east coast are rough!  We are enjoying fresh fruit and sweaty naps. Smiles on my kids faces always help the days not seem so terrible.

My first born. Who made me become a mother. Who teaches me so much about myself, and so so so much about God. 

Ruslana. 

The other day, we shared such a special moment. I looked at her standing in the breeze. Her strawberry blonde hair across her face and it seriously took my breath away. Now if you aren't a parent yet, this might sound crazy, insane, "over emotional".  And sure, what you feel as a parent sometimes is all of those things. And its wildly incredible getting to be a mother. 

I decided to snatch  my camera off the kitchen table quickly and capture this moment. Then she insisted that I be in front of the lens for once. I snapped a couple selfies with her and me. And looking at them I teared up. 

God is so good to me, and our family for allowing Ruslana to be ours.

currently on the farm...

I want to take more pictures of my kids doing what they do best-exploring the farm. I know our time here on this property will not last forever, although I hope its for many more years. I want to remember more of them at this age, playing and enjoying this place. So if you see more of my ginger babies frolicking on the farm, sorry. (well, not really!)

Lutz Wedding, Lauxmont Farms, Wrightsville Pa

What a wonderful day. Although it was raining on and off throughout the day, nothing could take away from the beautiful bride and her groom. The Lutz wedding was so incredible and Lauxmont Farms was gorgeous. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Jon Seiler. Portrait

I have the joy of calling Jon ( and his beautiful wife Sarah) friends for quite a few years now. He's a great guy, and a wonderful  musician. When he asked me to photograph him with his instruments, I jumped at the opportunity. I have never had a client incorporate instruments into a session, let alone such a beautifully crafted bass.
We ventured up the mountain into Mount Gretna and the sun and weather were perfect. Mount Gretna, PA is a magical place in its own right, holding such potential. We had a blast.  Heres Jon:

My not so little Little

Anyone who is a parent will totally understand me when I say this....Ahem....Why do my kids grow up so fast and how can I capture the essence of their childlikeness in a bottle. Lets say, how their hair smells, how do I capture that in a tiny vile so I can uncork it and breathe deep on hard days? Or capture the softness of their hairs, and skin? Anyways, today I uploaded some photographs from a tiny little spur of the moment (lately I feel like my whole life is a spur of the moment 'thing') photo shoot literally right outside our front door. Here are a few of my absolute favorites of my eldest Little, Ruslana Eva. 

(Here are her favorite shoes and jeans. The jeans are two years old and are falling apart and are transparent as some spots but she requests to wear them everyday with her Chucks. I cant refuse. )

U Family

This family has traveled a long way from Bangladesh, but are excited to be putting their roots back down in Lancaster. Walking just blocks from there home, we hung our in a park on a local collage campus. Little C was more than excited to take in all the park had to offer on a chilly January morning. What a great little family. Thanks guys.
